New Iraq oil law moves to parliament

...The progressive government program, in turn, as I have previously shown is essentially the same as that of the supposed "peace" bill of HR 508 and the "peace" candidate, Kucinich's program. The American "peace movement" is not an independent opposition, but an active and involved partisan agent.

New Iraq oil law moves to parliament

karlmarxwasright

February 20, 2007

Recent machinations are all an attempt to accomplish the following, "Draft Law on Oil Money Moves to Iraqi Cabinet," I do have a HUNCH about the compromise, however. The following article appeared simultaneously, "New Oil Find in Iraq Gives Hope to Sunni Areas." They call it "Sunni" areas. My HUNCH is that it will play a part in horse trading regarding the above oil law compromise. I'm sure this was known, previously. It did not "just" happen. My hunch turns out to be almost immediately verified. I wrote the above before seeing the following, "Iraqi Political Disintegration Continues."

Simultaneously, the new iraq oil law gets conveniently leaked

However, it is unclear to me if the preceeding translated version is THE most current one. Next, the following 0 The Iraq oil workers in the south are part of the newly established union and represented in London by Munir Chalabi, who, in turn, writes lots of articles for "progessive" publications and websites. The next question is, what is the name of the previous oil minister(s) to which the rigzone article is referring? In the article at arablinks.blogspot, above, regarding "Iraq Political Disintegration," the author refers to the fact that the Iraq infighting is "not computing," or being registered properly by alternative sources. Well consider what I've had on previous blogs, the references above, and, who, how, why the Iraq oil law is "leaking" at this moment. One needs to start making some overlapping graphs and flow charts regarding all the participants involved. For example, the following, again, from previous blogs, the agenda and participants, and, then, add in, "compute" the additional information, above.

The progressive government program, in turn, as I have previously shown is essentially the same as that of the supposed "peace" bill of HR 508 and the "peace" candidate, Kucinich's program. The American "peace movement" is not an independent opposition, but an active and involved partisan agent.

Reaffirming Iraq's "central government" authority and legitimacy is very important. It accomplishs three major goals. First, defuse the current explosion between Kurdistan and Turkey which threatens further regional destabilization and major domestic repercussions, as one can see, adding to my previous links, "[Turkey's] Military, Government Divided Over Iraqi Kurds." Then, the following in a VERY SIMPLE presentation, easily understandable, from Dec 21, 2006, "NY Times Pimps Privatization of Iraq's Oil".

In the previous link, under "OPTION 2, Government/State Oil Company Borrowing" you will note, the explanation for financing/lending from international banks. This dovetails directly into the following article regarding the World Bank and Iraq, "Wolfowitz Takes Action to Gear Up World Bank for Iraq."

In previous blogs I linked, and, re-linked to an article comparing Iraq's present and previous 1990 constitution. Worth re-emphasizing, gone will be the articles of the 1990 Iraq constitution graphically listed in the chart below as you scroll down towards the middle of the following link.

The Iraqi state, such as we've all known and experienced it, is destroyed in one fell swoop. America's "founding fathers," as they like to be called, would be proud of Iraq's new constitution. It is very much in their spirit and the historical purposes for which the American constitution was first written. (For background reading on that last point, as I've suggested previously, go to Charles Austin Beard's numerous writings, especially, "An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution of the US," first published 1913, since republished numerous times).

Lastly, legitimizing, sanitizing and stabilizing Iraq's central "government" as duly elected, representative and "democratic," would thus provide the justifcation for international recognition and support, corresponding involvement from "peacekeeping"forces and financial investment. The US, by itself, alone, will no longer be "bogged down," trapped in Iraq, either militarily or economically. They will be able to extricate some of their troops from the center of conflict, leaving a low-simmering and bubbling cauldron to be confronted by others. This scenario accords with HR 508 and the overlapping progressive government and Kucinich agendas.

And, of course, in addition, there will be an open rapproachment between Iran and the US, with Rafsanjani's rise, as I and others have long forecast.
