...An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the city of al-Qa’im near the border with Syria in western Iraq on Saturday morning. The al-Anbar Province correspondent for Quds Press reported eyewitnesses from the al-Karabilah area to the east of al-Qa’im as saying that a US foot patrol was proceeding down the main road to the eastern part of al-Karabila when two US soldiers were suddenly shot and killed by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter. After the attack, American troops closed off the area and began raids and searches in the area, looking for the Resistance attacker. They found no sign of him...

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills two US soldiers in al-Qa’im Saturday morning.

 

An Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed two US soldiers in the city of al-Qa’im near the border with Syria in western Iraq on Saturday morning.

 

The al-Anbar Province correspondent for Quds Press reported eyewitnesses from the al-Karabilah area to the east of al-Qa’im as saying that a US foot patrol was proceeding down the main road to the eastern part of al-Karabila when two US soldiers were suddenly shot and killed by an Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter.  After the attack, American troops closed off the area and began raids and searches in the area, looking for the Resistance attacker.  They found no sign of him.

 

Hit.

 

Resistance bombards joint US-Iraqi puppet army base in Hit Saturday morning.

 

In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces blasted the headquarters jointly occupied by US and Iraqi puppet army forces in Hit, about 140km northwest of Baghdad, with mortars on Saturday morning.

 

The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that three 82mm mortar shells blasted into the center of the joint US-Iraqi puppet army headquarters – which they have set up in the former city Youth Center in the middle of town.  The barrage sent plumes of smoke rising into the sky.  American helicopters were observed hovering at low altitude over the facility and the surrounding area.

 

Al-Khalidiyah.

 

Three US troops reported killed in Resistance bombing in Jazirat al-Khalidiyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 2:40pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a foot patrol of US and Iraqi puppet regime soldiers in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area, about 80km west of Baghdad.

 

The al-Khalidiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area as saying that the bomb went off as the foot patrol was walking down a farm road near the al-Kartan area in the Jazirat al-Khalidiyah area.

 

The blast killed three American and three Iraqi puppet army troops and wounded two US and two Iraqi puppet army soldiers.

 

Ar-Ramadi.

 

US troops storm family home in ar-Ramadi, murder five men, kidnap two women.

 

In a dispatch posted at 2:20pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a force of about 50 US occupation troops accompanied by a large number of military vehicles stormed into the at-Ta’mim section of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans executed five men from one family and wounded and abducted two women.  The fate of the two women was still unknown at the time of reporting.

 

Neighbors of the victim family told Mafkarat al-Islam that the US troops stormed the home of Kazim Badiwi Hassan, aged 60.  The soldiers blindfolded the members of the family and lined them up in front of the wall of one of the rooms in the house and then mowed them down with light machinegun fire.

 

The shooting killed the man of the house, Kazim Hassan and his four sons: Bashshar, a doctor of veterinary medicine; Muhammad, an accounts engineer; Ahmad, a student in the Environmental Science Department of the College of Sciences; and 'Umar, a public secondary school student.

 

Both Kazim Hassan’s wife and daughter were severely wounded, the neighbors said, and the Americans later took them away to their western base in ar-Ramadi where their fate remained unknown at the time of writing.

 

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the bodies of the five murdered men were to be buried at the ar-Ramadi Martyrs Cemetery later in the day.

 

Four US troops reported killed in Saturday morning bombing in ar-Ramadi.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:50am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the middle of ar-Ramadi.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that the bomb completely destroyed a US Humvee, killing four American troops who were aboard it.

 

Resistance mortars pound US headquarters east of ar-Ramadi at dawn Saturday.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:40am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the US military headquarters east of the city of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad at dawn on Saturday morning.

 

The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in as-Sufiyah in the eastern part of the city as saying that Resistance forces fired 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds into the US headquarters, setting off secondary explosions inside the camp.

 

Al-Fallujah.

 

Resistance bomb blasts Iraqi puppet army column in al-Karmah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that n Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column on the main road in the al-Karmah area east of al-Fallujah.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Karmah as saying that the bomb destroyed one vehicle in the puppet army column, killing three Iraqi puppet army troops and wounding two more of them.  After the attack, US and Iraqi puppet army troops surrounded the scene and military ambulances were observed evacuating the Iraqi puppet army dead and wounded.

 

Resistance fighters assault puppet army headquarters in al-Karmah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:40Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters carried out a sweeping attack on an Iraqi puppet army headquarters in the area of al-Karmah, east of al-Fallujah, about 60km west of Baghdad, at 10:30pm local time Friday night.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Karmah as saying that dozens of Iraqi Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons, pipe rockets, and mortars assaulted the headquarters of Iraqi puppet forces in al-Karmah, destroying large parts of the headquarters and killing or wounding dozens of Iraqi puppet troops.

 

Less than half an hour after the start of the attack, US occupation forces intervened to rescue what was left of the headquarters and the puppet forces in it.  The Americans called in fighter-bombers and helicopter gun ships and rocketed one of the houses located near the headquarters, killing three Iraqi civilians and wounding five more of them.

 

Because the curfew was in force at the time of the battle the correspondent had no direct information on the nature or extent of casualties.  Local eyewitnesses were certain that the American helicopters and Iraqi puppet army vehicles evacuated dozens of bodies of dead and wounded soldiers of the joint US-Iraqi puppet forces after the assault.

 

Baghdad.

 

Resistance bomb destroys US patrol vehicle in western Baghdad’s al-'Amiriyah, killing all American troops inside.

 

In a dispatch posted at 6pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance high-explosive bomb went off by a US military patrol on the road between the western Baghdad district of al-'Amiriyah and al-Fallujah, some 60km to the west at 11am local time Saturday morning.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses as saying that the totally destroyed one of the vehicles in the American patrol and that none of the US soldiers aboard the vehicle came out after the explosion, indicating that all aboard were killed.

 

The correspondent reported that US troops surrounded the scene after the blast and arrested a number of youths who live in the al-Fahilat neighborhood nearby.

 

Resistance bomb targets puppet police patrol in southeastern Baghdad.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol on the main road near the Zuyunah area of southeastern Baghdad.

 

The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the Zuyunah district as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of the road that leads to the al-Baladiyat area of Baghdad, blew up by a puppet police patrol.  The explosion destroyed one patrol vehicle, wounding four puppet policemen.

 

Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier on patrol in at-Taji.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman shot and killed a US soldier in the middle of at-Taji, a northern suburb of Baghdad.

 

The at-Taji correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the village of ad-Dulayimah as saying that a US patrol was operating in the village when a US soldier who was atop one of the patrol vehicles took a direct hit from a sharpshooter’s bullet, killing him instantly.

 

Resistance bomb blasts puppet troops on Muhammad al-Qasim Road in Saturday morning.

 

In a dispatch posted at 9:50am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet army column on Muhammad al-Qasim Road in southeastern Baghdad on Saturday morning.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the bomb destroyed a Nissan vehicle, killing two Iraqi puppet soldiers and wounding three more of them.

 

Salah ad-Din Province.

Al-Mushahadah.

 

Massive Resistance bomb reportedly kills four US troops south of al-Mushahadah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 9pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a massive Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road along the at-Taji river bank near the city of al-Mushahadah, about 25km north of Baghdad.

 

The al-Mushahadah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that the bomb exploded as a patrol of several Humvees was driving along the road south of al-Mushahadah.  The enormous explosion totally destroyed one Humvee, killing four American troops who were aboard it.  Body parts were thrown as far as 25 meters from the blast site.  US military vehicles were later seen evacuating the bodies of the dead and the wreckage of the vehicle.

 

Balad.

 

Resistance bomb south of Balad leaves US soldier reported dead.

 

In a dispatch posted at 7:10pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a column of several US Bradley armored vehicles and Humvees on the main road south of Balad, about 85km north of Baghdad.

 

The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a bomb that had been planted near a fuel station by the side of the road blew up as an American column drove past.  The explosion disabled a Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them according to local residents who witnessed the bombing and later spoke to the correspondent.

 

Diyala Province.

Al-Mada’in.

 

Iraqi Resistance forces escalated their attacks on US and Iraqi puppet army troops in the city of al-Mada’in, just southeast of Baghdad on Saturday.  In a dispatch posted at 8:30pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Resistance had mounted two attacks in the previous few hours.

 

The al-Mada’in correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported local eyewitnesses as saying that a Resistance bomb exploded by a US patrol on the main road in southwestern al-Mada’in, disabling an American vehicle and killing one US soldier and wounding a second.

 

In a separate attack, Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded a base jointly used by US troops and Iraqi puppet "Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)" with six mortar rounds. The shells blasted directly into the headquarters sending smoke billowing up from the facility.

 

Babil Province.

Al-Hillah.

 

Resistance bomb blasts motorcade of puppet Scorpion Brigade commander.

 

In a dispatch posted at 12 noon Makkah time Saturday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by the motorcade of the commander of the "Scorpion Brigade" of the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry" forces in the al-Mahawil area north of al-Hillah, about 100km south of Baghdad.

 

The al-Hillah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the al-Mahawil puppet police as saying that the bomb, which had been planted next to the road to Baghdad, blew up by the motorcade of Colonel Salamah al-Ma'muri, the commander of the "Scorpion Brigade" under the puppet "Interior Ministry."  The blast destroyed two of the vehicles in the motorcade, killing three of his body guards.  Five more individuals were wounded.  The commander himself escaped injury according to reports.

 

The Scorpion Brigade has a sinister reputation as one of the puppet "Interior Ministry" units that carry out house-to-house raids, searches, arrests, and murders of Sunnis in southern parts of Iraq.

 

Al-Latifiyah.

 

Resistance bombs rip through puppet "National Guard" column near al-Latifiyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 8:50pm Makkah time Saturday night, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a number of Iraqi Resistance bombs exploded by a column of puppet "Iraqi National Guards" west of al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.

 

The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a series of Resistance bombs planted by the side of a farm road west of the city blew up one after the other as an Iraqi puppet "National Guard" column drove past.

 

The explosions completely destroyed one vehicle in the column and disabled a second.  Four puppet "National Guards" were killed and four more of them wounded.

 

Resistance bomb leaves three US troops reported killed in southern al-Latifiyah.

 

In a dispatch posted at 10:30am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military column on the main road in the south of al-Latifiyah.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in al-Latifiyah as saying that the bomb, which was planted in the Muwaylihah area of south al-Latifiyah, went off by a column of six American Humvees.  The blast completely destroyed one Humvee, killing three US troops and wounding two more of them.

 

At-Ta’mim Province.

Kirkuk.

 

Two American troops reported killed in bombing southwest of Kirkuk.

 

In a dispatch posted at 7:20pm Makkah time Saturday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military vehicle on the main road to Bayji southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq.

 

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the area of ar-Riyad, about 25km southwest of Kirkuk, as saying that the bomb went off by a column of several American Humvees on the road to Bayji.  The blast destroyed one Humvee, killing two US troops who were aboard it and wounding two more of them.

 

Ninwa Province.

Tall 'Afar.

 

Resistance bomb blasts puppet police in Tall 'Afar Friday night.

 

In a dispatch posted at 11:20am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by an Iraqi puppet police patrol in Tall 'Afar, west of Mosul in northern Iraq, late on Friday night.

 

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in Tall 'Afar as saying that an explosives-laden car that had been left by the side of the main road near the citadel in the city blew up by a passing puppet police patrol.  The blast destroyed two patrol vehicles, killing seven puppet policemen and wounding another six of them.  Three civilians who were near the scene of the blast were also injured.

 

Karbala’ Province.

High-explosive Resistance bomb reportedly kills four US troops in Karbala’.

 

In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Makkah time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that it had just been learned that an Iraqi Resistance high-explosive bomb had exploded by a group of US troops on the main street in the New al-Attiba’ Neighborhood near the an-Nasr neighborhood of Karbala’ in southwestern Iraq.

 

The Karbala’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb had been planted near a sewer opening and that the explosion destroyed one American Humvee and disabled a second.  Local eyewitnesses confirmed that four US troops were killed and three more wounded in the attack.

 

The correspondent reported that American soldiers cordoned off the area where the bomb exploded and were still there at the time of reporting.  US troops began raiding houses and shops near the scene.

 

A source in the Karbala’ puppet police said that they had received intelligence information that Resistance fighters from the 1920 Revolution Brigades had arrived in the predominantly Shi'i city.  The source said that the puppet regime authorities had been searching for the Resistance fighters since Friday in local hotels and the houses of residents believed to sympathize with the Resistance.  The source was particularly referring to homes of members of the Sunni as-Sa'dun and al-Muntafiq tribes.
