When sorrows come, they come not single spies But in battalions. Shakespeare
" . . . on the BBC the Israeli military stated that the killing of Yehya, Mahmoud and Sarah was an accident: 'at the very last second, it was apparent that they were children, but it was impossible to stop the explosion.' There was no mention of holding accountable the soldiers who killed them or at the very least any offer of support to the families and the community. They cannot leave their area, or their land, as they have nowhere else to go. Where's the justice for 12-year-old Yehya and his childhood, or 10-year-old Mahmoud who wanted nothing more than to have the same things as his friend, or 10-year-old Sarah who never got to wear her new school clothes?" Yassmin Moor Since September 28, 2000, there have been 892 such accidents.

| Comment pos ted: by kate bates on 09 Sep 2007 - 21:45 | Who will hold Israel accountable?
This is part of systemic plan of genocide/ Genocide Lite/
The best bet we have right now is boycott, disvestment and sanctions. The solutions are coming much too slowly, we must hurry and perhaps save the next 800-900 children from having their short lives extinguished by Israel's genocidal policies. |
| Comment pos ted: by wargames on 10 Sep 2007 - 04:22 | | This tragedy, like all the innumerable tragedies that have resulted over the las t several decades from the horrendous policies of the Zionist Israeli government , should never have happened. Tragedies like this will continue, however, as lo ng as the Zionist government has the unequivocal support of my country, the Unit ed States. At long last, far later than was possible and morally justifiable, many Americans are becoming aware of the error of this unequivocal U.S. support. This is creditable, in large part, to the alternative media, such as this site, who continue to report views and information unavailable in the U.S. corporate media. It is now imperative that the newly informed American public take control of their own government and drastically change American policy towards Israel. This will in turn contribute to the collapse of the Zionist government and its replacement by a moderate democratic government which will give equal status and opportunity to Israeli Palestinians, make reparations to the Palestinian people for their long, unjust suffering and totally change Israeli policy toward their neighbors. American policy toward the Zionist regime is the key to the solution to these terrible problems. |
