Gaza: Palestinian journalist, his wife and mother-in-law killed by Israeli artillery

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that a Palestinian journalist, his wife and his mother in law were killed on Thursday evening when Israeli troops shelled their home in Gaza city.
Eyhab Al Wahidi worked as a cameraman for the Palestinian President's Office in Gaza.
The children of Al Wahidi, now orphaned due to the killing of their parents and grandmother, also sustained serious injuries.
While international and Israeli journalists have been kept out of the Gaza Strip throughout the two-week long Israeli offensive, Palestinian journalists who have managed to get reports out of Gaza via the internet and cellular phone have reported being targeted by Israeli forces.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reports that 8 Palestinian journalists have been killed by the Israeli army between the years of 2000 to 2008.
The Israeli army embarked on its current military offensive on Saturday December 27, 2008. The Palestinian Ministry of Heath in Gaza stated that the death toll in Gaza by Thursday evening stands at 765; half of them are children and women, in addition to 3,200 injured, among them 500 in critical condition.

As we ,the world, witness Genocide right now; and it is Genocide and nothing short of Genocide against an impoveris hed mostly unarmed civilian population, we have to wonder when the crow will com e home to roost. The Madmen in Senate and Congress and Pentagon who clearly back this unspeakable crime and israel are sure to be abandoned from good karma and will,hopefully, chew their own tounges off in the madness they have made for themselves and turn their guns on each other rather than on starving civilians who most certainly don't deserve this. Really this is not unlike all the other wholesale slaughters on, purely, civilian targets we have seen since Bush-Cheney: Afghanistan over 1,000,000.00 killed, Iraq over 1,000,000.00 killed , Lebanon in '06 over 1000 killed in a 1 month bombing campaign of ,nothing but, civilian infrastructure , Palistine countless women and children killed in that horrible blockaded prison Gaza over the last 8 years and now Pakistan with predawn raids on civilian villagers. I am sorry but if 9/11 really was 19 Saudi hijackers(and we,the people,don't know for sure as it could have been false flag)9/11 can't possibly justify the ,almost, 8 years of all this killing and invasion. This latest crime of disproportionate bombing & invasion is not unlike the many in the last 8 years of Bush-Cheney with the wholesale slaughter of,nothing but, civilians; Afghanistan over 1,000,000 killed and 3,000,000 orphans created,Iraq over 1,500,000 killed, Lebanon in '06 over 1000 killed in a one month bombing campaign of ,nothing but, civilians & infrastructure (backed by ,you guessed it, the U.S.), Palistine with countless killed and/or displaced over the last 8 years and under brutal blockade preventing lifes basics and now Pakistan has been receiving predawn raids on civilians in their homes. In that respect I suppose we should all have the choice on ,whether or not, we end up on the news at night for doing something crazy or nuts or illegal and also ,like in this case, just plain WRONG. They have no cho ice. The world knows you are the starter of War,israel, and for that you will have curses on you and all who back you just like the ones you have always perpetuated. Change,Jews in israel, do a 180 and treat your neighbors the way you would like to be treated and be a peaceful people for once. |
